Corporate Governance at DOWASCO seeks to provide an environment that promotes decision-making in the interests of all stakeholders. DOWASCO is committed to governance policies and practices that assure our shareholders and customers that it conducts business in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Commonwealth of Dominica. The Water and Sewerage Act which came into effect in 1989 makes provision for a national policy for water and the granting of an exclusive licence to DOWASCO for the development and control of water supply and sewerage facilities in Dominica.
