An application for water or sewerage services must be made to DOWASCO
prior to connection taking place.

Water or Sewerage connection application can be made on the same form
available at our offices on High Street, Roseau; Laplaine and Portsmouth.

The following will be required:

• Completed application form with details:
  

  • The service address - give as much detail as possible
  
  
  • The name(s) to appear on the account.
  
  
  • Your mailing address (if different from the service address)
  
  
  • Your contact telephone number(s)
  
  
  • Location of property giving details of property and nearest neighbor

• A letter from the owner or property manager,
  authorizing you to install a water connection,
  if you are renting the property. The tenant will be required to pay
  a security deposit which is refunded when service is no longer
  required by the Tenant and all outstanding bills have been settled.

• Proof of ownership of property such as a Certificate of Title or a
  letter from the Chairman of your Village Council will be considered.
  If you are in the process of securing a Certificate of Title a letter
  from your Solicitor may be accepted.

• Connection deposit paid in advance. This is an amount paid towards
  the connection cost and is non-refundable.

Upon completion of the survey we will inform you by phone/letter of the outcome of the survey. You are required to pay a deposit in order for us to proceed with the connection.
